Are you planning your next trip with the kids? Perhaps you have always struggled to find a destination that they enjoy, and that won’t drive you absolutely demented. Well, fear not because we have collected some of the best places in the world to take your children on holiday. Here are a few of the best options that you’ll definitely want to start booking for next year.
Lapland – Where Santa Lives
Christmas isn’t as far away as you think but you can visit Lapland at any time of the year, and you’ll always find the jolly old St Nick. Of course, visiting Santa isn’t the only reason why you might want to book a trip to this holiday park in Finland. You can also arrange reindeer rides through the snow, see stunning winter skies and relax in deluxe wilderness lodges. As such, it’s somewhere that the whole family will almost certainly enjoy. As we said, you can book this as a winter holiday, but Lapland is just as beautiful in the middle of summer as it is through the winter months.
Forget Orlando – Head To California
For kids, the best reason to go to Cali would be Disneyland and Universal Studios. Why should you choose these theme parks rather than their Florida counterparts? Well, despite being a massive, massive park, Disney World doesn’t have as many rides as Disneyland meaning that there is less for kids to do. And, while Universal Studios Orlando is great fun, the Hollywood version of the park beats it. The Hollywood version has a backstage tour of movie sets and gives you a chance to see where actual movies are filmed. While the rides in Orlando are super fun, they don’t quite add up to the brilliance of this. Besides that, if you are looking for trip ideas for families Cali is packed full of adventures and activities everyone is going to enjoy. Disney World, despite being for kids has a shockingly high number of rides that the little ones won’t be allowed to ride or enjoy.
Somewhere Beautiful – Head To Greece
Of course, if you want to get away from the crowds on the holiday with the kids, head to the Greek Islands. While very popular with tourists, they are spread out and secluded enough that you won’t be constantly fighting traffic and queues. You won’t find any theme parks here, but you will discover the stunning ancient history and gorgeous beaches to relax on. Or, if you want some thrilling activities you can rent a boat to explore the oceans around the island and perhaps even dry jet skiing?
Somewhere To Relax – Try The Maldives
Or finally, if you and your family just want to relax and let the ocean waves lap across the shoreline as you like back on the sun kissed sand, head to the Maldives. The resorts here are kid friendly while still providing lots of options for parents who want to escape the stresses of the world.
We hope at least one of these holiday options is the perfect choice for your next family vacation.
