Introducing the Turn It To Travel Directory

At Turn It To Trvl, we want to help promote websites within the travel niche. That could be a travel agent, a hotel or even a fellow travel blog. When Turn It To Trvl launched our readership was low and like any new website, our domain authority was 01. Today, it’s 30.

Domain authority is an important metric which predicts how well a website will rank on search engine results pages. Therefore, it is important to have a good domain authority if you want organic visitors to your site. Driving traffic to your website and getting noticed by search engines takes a lot of time and effort.

‘Links’ play a major role in determining your ranking position on the various search engines. Obtaining inbound links or backlinks in quantity and quality can influence your search engine rank immensely. One simple way to obtain backlinks is to submit your link to directories.

Aside from passing on link juice and helping to improve a website search engine visibility a listing on a directory will bring traffic. If the directory gets a good number of visitors, naturally these will pass on to your website.

However, there are thousands of directories online and appearing on all of them will not benefit your website. When listing your website on a directory you must make sure the directory has a good domain authority, is not spammy (you can check spam score on Moz.com) and it has relevance to your niche.
